Kyle’s first book was co-authored wth Matt Chandler and other friends from The Village Church in Dallas, Texas.

The book is about where joy is found when darkness envelops us and we have nowhere else to turn. Kyle’s chapter specifically focuses on December 2015 when his daughter Kate passed away.

This is probably the most difficult thing I have ever written but also maybe the single most important and certainly the one I’m most proud of. Our daughter died when my wife was 36 weeks pregnant, and that — as you might imagine — changed the trajectory of our family forever in both massive and minute ways. I tried to get at why and how that happened in Ch. 3 of this book I was so humbled to help write with so many folks I admire in such monumental ways.
